Key responsibilities

  • To the motivation, supervision and development of the finance team. This will include, but not be limited to:
  • Leading the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions ensuring efficient and effective servicing of suppliers, employees and intercompany partners
  •  Working closely with Group Company Accountants to ensure reliable and accurate forecasting
  • Ensuring robust and effective policies and controls are maintained
  • Leading month end (balance sheet reconciliation) working across the function to ensure controls are maintained and improved
  • Co-coordinating Internal and External Audit reviews
  • This position will also provide opportunity to act in an immediate Financial Control function, with potential move into this role long-term.


Professional accounting qualification

  • ICA or ICWAI with excellent technical skills.
  • 10 – 12 years experience is preferential,
  • Control mindset and process oriented with experience running a full finance function
  • Fluent written and verbal English language

Experience in Financial Management roles, excellent time management and ability to work to tight deadlines, Proactive attitude and ability to operate autonomously and on own initiative to identify and manage work requirements


Job Purpose and Accountabilities:

  • Ownership of the full financials of the account (including accurate view of actual and forecasts by service line and region)
  •  Financial Management and review of Quarterly budgets and annual Midterm plan
  • Presentation of reports on program and project performance, risks and opportunities, the global view, and any significant new business opportunities to the Senior Management team,
  • Management of all customer financial obligations on the account
  •  Backlog reconciliation on a quarterly basis
  •  Assisting the service delivery teams to identify and track cost savings and understand variances to the original contracted baseline
  •  Responsibility of all internal and external reporting
  • Financial modeling and decision support during commercial negotiations and small projects/change controls
  • Balance sheet control
  • Year End Audit reporting for the Account
  • Provide adhoc assistance when requiredSkills – Mandatory:

    MS Office Excel to a high standard and Word and Power point to an intermediate standard

  • Proficient financial analysis and modeling skills to bring information from different internal and external sources together to estimate cost and risk
  • Attention to detail of financial planning such that planned results will be achieved in actual delivery
  • Financial Accounting package such as Tally ERP and S A P is must
